Spring Park Express

The Tuscumbia Railway Company, Inc. offers family entertainment in the form of three rides in Spring Park.

The Spring Park Express pulled by engine #718 regular runs around Spring Park from March through September on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and most holidays. The trip around the park takes approximately 5 minutes.

Tickets are $3.00 for anyone 18 and under and $4.00 for adults.  These tickets are good for all day and anyone can ride as many times as they would like during regular operating day as long as they disembark and get back into line after each run.  (For information on the Halloween and Christmas trains, see special events calendar.)

 Spring Park Carousel

A 36’ Chance Rides carousel was added to the park in 2005.  The merry-go-round contains 36 horses and 2 chariots. This ride operates on a regular schedule from March through September on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and most holidays when the weather will permit. The charge is $2.00 for all ages. The tickets are good for all day allowing everyone to ride as many times as they would like during the operating day as long as they get off and get back in line after each turn.

 The Python Roller Coaster

The Python kiddy roller coaster was added in 2005 to Spring Park.  This ride operates on a regular schedule from March through September on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and most holidays when the weather will permit. For the Halloween and Christmas schedule, ( October thru December), see special events calendar.

The charge for this ride is $3.00 per person of all ages.  The ticket is good for all day allowing everyone to ride as many times as they would like during operating hours as long as they disembark and get back in line after each trip.  A child must be 42” or taller to ride this ride by themselves.

For birthday parties, buy 10 tickets and birthday child receives free ticket
